Some beaches don't allow dogs. Check the rules and regulations first.
Topless, women don't need to wear tops. Nude, no one has to wear any thing. Women on topless beaches, when going topless, tend to match that with smaller bottoms, either small brazilans or thongs. In a similar way the men on a topless beach also wear smaller bottoms, often speedos or thongs. Nude beaches tend to be a mixture unless it is a nude only beach, in which case people wearing anything larger than a thong are made to feel unwelcome.
Daytona Beach is a great vacation spot and does have a great nightlife. There are alot of areas along the Southeast coast that are exciting. If you like to travel and are not sure of places to go here is a site that is helpful cindysdiscounttravel.com
Hi MegaMe623, There are a couple of species of what is commonly referred to as Beach Grass. One is native of the Atlantic coast and the other is a native of Europe. Both are perennials with rhizomes. Your beach grass is not actually dying and coming back. It is simply going into a dormant phase and then regenerating its foliage. When you believe that the grass has died, try putting your fingers down into the soil and feel for the network of roots that are still there. These would have to be entirely removed or sprayed with an appropriate herbicide in order to actually kill the plant. This is one reason that this plant (European Beach Grass) is such a pest along the Pacific shores, because it is difficult to remove and crowds out the native grasses and vegetation of coastal dunes. I hope this helps. ~Flower Power
There is no way to tell which was the first beach as beaches predate life on earth. Even if you could tell the beach would have been gone for millions of years. As for how long people have gone to beaches that would be about the same length of time as there have been people.
Actually, if you can go a little further, go to Sylvan Lake. It's a nice resort beach, but it is pretty busy. But it's beautiful and well worth a trip! It's only about 1.5 hours away (about the same driving distance as Red Deer so great for a day trip).
Yes, there's an off-leash dog beach in Huntington and in Long Beach (both in Orange County). There is also a dog beach in San Diego. This one is even farther but I think it's better because the beach itself is farther from the highway. Therefore it's safer for off-leash dogs. Most beaches allow dogs on the boardwalk but not on the sand/surf. There are a few beaches that don't really enforce any policy on dogs, but I don't frequent beaches enough to remember which ones. They're mostly small, local beaches that only the locals know about.
play a formation like this GK CB CB CM CF Play the ball through the CM, designating him/her as the main playmaker. One of the CBs should be more mobile going forward than the other so keep one back at all times and give the other one some freedom. Play a long ball to the CF in the air quite often if you struggle to keep the ball often, they should be able to lay the ball off to the CM behind them.
I have looked into having a beach wedding too! I have been to several beaches around the US and I really like Sanibel Island FL. Very small island, beautiful white sand beaches, and awesome views at sunset. There are several companies on Sanibel that do destination weddings and you can find them for all price ranges. There are also some really wonderful places to stay on Sanibel and some of the resorts offer wedding/honeymoon packages. The great thing about Sanibel is that the beaches are not crowded. You have to remember that most beaches are public so you are going to have people walking on the beach. Sanibel beaches are not crowded and I have seen many wedding done here. People here are very respectful of the ceremony, and will go out of their way to walk around your special event. The Sanibel Island visitor’s center is very helpful with weddings, just email them and they will assist you in finding out everything you need. You do have to get a marriage licenses and a permit for the beach. They are pretty inexpensive. Captiva is another small island that is right by Sanibel. It is way smaller than Sanibel but they also have some really pretty places to get married. I have been going to this area since I was a kid and I cannot explain to you how beautiful it is! It really is a very romantic place, peacful, and breathtaking. Here are some websites that I have used to help plan my beach wedding you might find them helpful: http://www.sanibelisland.com/ http://www.sanibel-captiva.org/weddings/index.asp http://www.casaybelresort.com/ http://www.sundialresort.com/weddings_and_meetings/weddings.cfm http://www.nawp.com/chapters/featured_members_fort_myers.cfm http://www.sanibel-online.com/island_weddings.htm http://www.fsimonetti.com/ http://sanibelbeachresort.com/Sanibel-Island-Weddings/index.htm This lady does the BEST weddings around! I have seen several of hers in Sanibel. If you are thinking of having a wedding here I would check her out! http://www.sanibelcaptivaweddings.com/ I would think the best time to get married here is during sunset, you get some amazing pictures and the beaches are just breathtaking at this time! We like to go in Oct./Nov. They usually have really nice weather, not too hot not too cold. I hope this helps you congrats on your wedding!
Any of the beaches near Jacksonville. Neptune, Juno...their ALL awesome!
I definitely think that a beach can be around any body of water, regardless of its size. Beaches near oceans may be more popularly accepted, especially if you grew up in Florida, but I think a beach can be near any body of water and still hold that classification.
we just got back from seagrove, fla. so beautiful. we rented bikes. there are other towns around there. it is between destin and panama(sp?) on the gulf. it is also called the emerald coast.
Apparently 'the beach' only variates a few degrees throughout the whole year. Its the air temp which influences our option to swim or not.
I love the first persons answer, but just keep in mind that it will make your hair smell very very salty and just make sure your okay with that! You can also just take a wide barrel curling iron and curl your hair loosly then shake your head and run your fingers back and forth in your hair, or do whatever you want to give it that kind of messy look. You can also just go wild and get it wayy messy (( which is easier )) and then brush through it a little bit.
MBSC is far from a playground for the rich - it's known as The Redneck Riviera and that's far from rich folk. In fact, most people here (who live here) earn between $7-10 an hour and work their tail off in the hospitality and retail industries with no hope of ever being rich. There are working class and professional class and not much in the middle. To do? Mostly people come here to go to the beach. It doesn't cost anything to go to the beach and lounge around all day. There are plenty of things to do that don't cost major bucks - I usually pay less than a few $ for a beer and more than a few girls I've met here pay nothing for a beer (they use my money). ☺ Being close to DC and Boston? There's not an interstate here. Washington DC is a 7 hour drive and Boston is 14 hours. Atlanta is 5.5 hours and Charlotte is about 4. Close by is Wilmington NC and Charleston SC - Columbia SC isn't too bad. Washington and Boston are cheaper to fly to from here. All of that said, I like it here a lot. I'm not leaving any time soon. Best cost of living of any of the many places I've been and there's plenty to do that costs nothing.
I live next to the beach and I take my 3 month old there all the time. 1) take a beach towel for him to help prevent sand getting on him ( which is going to happen anyway) 2) buy a florr fun mat. The baby lays on this which is placed on top of the beach towel and should be entertanied. 3) You need a beach umbrella and sun screen cause they will break out in a nasty rash with too much sun 4) Resist the urge to the baby up all day else you wont enjoy yourself. ENJOY!
