Interacting with the ball is simple: punch it, bounce it, squeeze it, or tap it and the ball's internal LEDs react instantaneously. Dozens of balls released to an energetic audience at a major music concert, transform the environment into a multi-sensorial, interactive playground, actively engaging the crowd in a shared experience. Each ball also can act as both an input and an output device by being networked to a central computer. This allows for more complex interaction, as the crowd can modify the graphics on a screen, make the balls light up in unison, or even affect the music. tangibleinteraction.com info@tangibleinteraction.com Photos at flickr.com/photos/tangible/sets/72157601013709698/ Video shot and edited by associazione-nada.org Building Interactive Playgrounds organized by associazione-nada.org Video music track: So much by HUGO elettrowave.eu 12 Jun 2006 at 2:47pm ![]() 5 min - Jun 12, 2006 italy 20 Apr 2008 at 9:49pm 1 min - Apr 21, 2008 http://www.ROJADIRECTA.org 23 Jun 2008 at 9:09am 17 min - Jun 23, 2008 27 May 2006 at 3:00am 11 min - May 27, 2006 II 1974 TRIP Pompeii is a ruined Roman city near modern Naples in the Italian region of Campania, in the territory of the comune of Pompei. It was destroyed during a catastrophic eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. The volcano buried the city under many feet of ash and it was lost for 1,600 years before its accidental rediscovery. Since then, its excavation has provided an extraordinarily detailed insight into the life of a city at the height of the Roman Empire. Today, it is one of Italy's leading tourist attractions. Pompeii was a lively place, and evidence abounds of literally the smallest details of everyday life. For example, on the floor of one of the houses (Sirico's), a famous inscription Salve, lucru (Welcome, money), perhaps humorously intended, shows us a trading company owned by two partners, Sirico and Nummianus (but this could be a nickname, since nummus means coin, money). In other houses, details abound concerning professions and categories, such as for the "laundry" workers (Fullones). Wine jars have been found bearing what is apparently the world's earliest known marketing pun, Vesuvinum. Graffiti carved on the walls shows us real street Latin. WIKIPEDIA 3 Jun 2008 at 5:09pm 1 min - Jun 3, 2008 Jun. 3 - Italy captain Fabio Cannavaro is ruled out of Euro 2008 after suffering ankle ligament damage shortly after arriving in Austria. The 34-year-old defender collided with Giorgio Chiellini in Italy's first training session and his departure from the tournament was confirmed after hospital tests. Cannavaro, named FIFA's World Player of the Year in 2006, is due to be operated on and will be out for a few months. Alessandro Gamberini has been called up by the world champions as a replacement.
